Pinterest Tips and Trends – November 2018

Is it really November already?  I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by and I’m not sure I’m ready for the holidays yet.  But, guess what?  Pinterest is!

It’s time to start sharing all those fabulous holiday posts on Pinterest because people want to plan their holiday menu, decorate their homes, and start their holiday shopping.  So, I’m here to help with this month’s collection of Pinterest Tips and Trends.  Here’s a list of what you should be pinning and a few tips to help grow your Pinterest account.

If you’re new to the blog and haven’t seen the previous month’s tips and trends, you can find them all HERE.

November Pinterest Tips and Trends

Pinterest Tips and Trends – November 2018

What can you do to help your account continue to grow?

Tip #1 – Write keyword-rich descriptions for pins and boards

Think of Pinterest as a search engine.  People are using Pinterest to search for topics and ideas.  Make sure every pin you add and every board you create has keyword-rich descriptions.  This can be time consuming but it’s totally worth it.

Tip #2 – Use Tailwind Tribes

I highly recommend using Tailwind Tribes to grow your business.  You’ll get your pins repinned and you’ll also find great content to pin.  It’s a win-win for everyone.

Tip #3 – Live Pinning

I said this last month and I’m saying it again this month – make sure you are going on Pinterest for a few minutes everyday to live pin.  Pinterest is wanting you to be engaged. The days of scheduling it and forgetting it are gone. Put Pinterest on your phone and take 5 minutes a day to live pin.  Live pinning is where you are doing a quick search for something and straight scheduling it to your boards.

What should you be pinning in November?

Remember, with the new smart fee, last minute pins will not get you the traction you want.  You need to be pinning all holiday pins now.  Add them to all relevant boards and make sure your adding them to your tribes.
