Happy fall y’all!  I’m loving that it’s finally sweater weather and pumpkin spice season.  Well, it’s still pretty warm around here so I haven’t been able to wear my sweaters or boots yet but I am loving all my favorite pumpkin treats.  And, now that it’s October, it’s time to share this month’s collection of Pinterest Tips and Trends.  Here’s a list of what you should be pinning and a few tips to help grow your Pinterest account.

If you’re new to the blog and haven’t seen the previous month’s tips and trends, you can find them all HERE.

What can you do to help your account continue to grow?

Tip #1 – Use Google Analytics

Look at your Google Analytics to see what you should you be pinning.  Look at your top 10 posts from this time last year and pin those to your best performing boards.  Also, pin your top performing blog posts from the last 30 days.  Use this FREE PRINTABLE to help you plan out your weekly Pinterest schedule.

Tip #2 – Live Pinning

Make sure you are going on Pinterest for a few minutes everyday to live pin.  Pinterest is wanting you to be engaged. The days of scheduling it and forgetting it are gone. Put Pinterest on your phone and take 5 minutes a day to live pin.  Live pinning is where you are doing a quick search for something and straight scheduling it to your boards.

Tip #3 – Create New Pins

Choose 3-5 older posts and create new pins.  Sometimes adding the title to an image or creating a collage image can help bring new traffic to older posts.  I suggest starting with your top performing blog posts.  People like those posts for a reason.  And, don’t forget – we can create new pinnable images for you.  Please contact us for more information.
